We deliver a regular series of Training Courses at our own training facility in Wakefield that comprises an Introductory Series and Masterclasses.  We are also able to tailor specific courses delivered in-house at the Client's premises.

1. Introductory Series

These are intended to provide a good background for those new to the profession and those who wish to become familiar with a new area.  The Introductory Series assumes that delegates will have a basic background in science and technology but will be relatively new to the specific topic being covered.  The Introductory Series typically involve an introduction to the relevant legislation, how this is interpreted in practice, the typical approaches employed by the water undertakers and the regulator, basic design guidelines and case studies of best practice.  All delegates receive: copies of all the presentation material to use for making notes during the course, a CD of all the presentations, printed course notes for use reference material at the end of the course and a detailed reference list of supplementary reading. 

2. Masterclasses

  A Masterclass is for individuals who wish to be kept updated of the latest developments in the subject area.  It is a much more specialised course delivered by one or more recognised experts in the subject area.  It is an intensive course which delivers a lot of leading edge information in an interactive environment with extensive discussions and case studies.  All delegates receive: copies of all the presentation material to use for making notes during the course, a CD of all the presentations, printed course notes for use reference material at the end of the course and a detailed reference list of supplementary reading. 

3. In-house Training

We work with specialist trainers who will put together a tailored programme to suit the needs and budget of your company.  All of the in-house training programmes we deliver are designed and developed based on discussion between the trainer and the client to identify the level of expertise of the delegates, their background and the client objectives for the training course.  The training schedule can range from 1-day through to intensive 5-day courses. Training is generally delivered at the clients' offices; and we are able to provide all the necessary equipment.
