Sustainable Organic Resources Partnership (SORP) is an independent open forum that welcomes everybody with an interest in the sustainable use of organic resources.  The Partnership believes the use of these organic resources on land is important to maintain soil organic matter content and complete nutrient cycles, and that practices must be sustainable, based on sound science and trusted by the public and other stakeholders. 

A key SORP activity is to promote awareness of the Partnership and to inform the membership and other interested parties of the background and developments in the policies, practices and advances in the sustainable use of organic resources.  In order to achieve this, it will be offering an annual series of conferences and training courses which address topical issues in the sustainable use of organic resources.  These events are all offered under three broad themes:

• Recycling Organic Resources to Land

• Waste Legislation and Strategies

• Marketing Sustainable Organic Resources
